The department of information and computer support of the RSA apparatus (hereinafter referred to as the department) is established by the order of the head of the RSA in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Local State Administrations”, Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 606 of April 18, 2012 "On Approval of Recommended Lists of Structural Subdivisions of Regional, Kyiv and Sevastopol City, District State Administrations in the Cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol. Kyiv and Sevastopol state administrations" (as amended). The department is subordinated to the chief of staff of the regional state administration.
In its activities, the department is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, laws of Ukraine, resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the head of the regional state administration, this Regulation and other regulatory legal acts.
The main tasks of the department are:
Use of existing and creation of new information resources in the RSA apparatus, provision of access to them and interaction with the Office of the President of Ukraine and the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on these issues on behalf of the RSA management.
Interaction with structural subdivisions of the regional state administration, district state administrations and executive bodies of city councils, territorial bodies of ministries and other central executive authorities, enterprises, institutions and organizations on information and analytical support.
Introduction of modern information technologies in Donetsk region for automated processing, systematization and analysis of information.
Participation in the development and implementation of the regional informatization program, practical use of information data to analyze the state of development of the information society in the region.
Ensuring the implementation of the state policy of digital development, use of electronic information resources and development of the information society, digital transformation and information integration in the RSA.
Within the scope of the department's powers, it takes measures aimed at protecting information in information and telecommunication systems in the RSA.
