By calling the hotline, veterans—both men and women—and their family members, as well as the families of fallen defenders, can receive advice on
▪️ benefits, social and psychosocial support;
▪️ obtaining official status and identification cards;
▪️ education and employment;
▪️ housing programs;
▪️ legal and financial issues.
The 1528 hotline operates daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Calls are free. The project is implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
There is also a crisis support hotline operated by the Ukrainian Veterans Fund of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs—0 800 33 20 29—where you can receive psychological support in crisis situations; this service is supported by NATO.
Counseling is provided free of charge and around the clock. Legal consultations are available from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays.
A specialist in veteran support can also assist with practical questions. You can find them in the “Veteran PRO” section of the Diya app or through local departments responsible for veteran policy in your community.
