The Onufriivka community hosted a charity event titled “Uniting for Victory” in support of resilient outpost communities. The charity event took place as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
Representatives from the Onufriivka community in Kirovohrad Oblast, the Berezivka community in Sumy Oblast, and the Andriivka community in Donetsk Oblast participated in the charity event.
The “Solomiya” theater troupe from the Andriivka Rural Center for Culture and Leisure presented “Rural Sketches” to the audience, in which the colorful Kumy characters brought a smile to everyone’s face with their genuine Ukrainian humor, witty jokes, and stories from life.
The Donetsk residents succeeded in giving the audience moments of joy and warmth, because even in the hardest times, song, humor, and unbreakable optimism save Ukrainians.
It was a great honor for the creative team from the Andriivska community to be part of such a large-scale project and to make their creative contribution to this joint charitable cause.
The charity fair, creative workshops, concert, and children’s activities held that day—each activity had a purpose. Thanks to the compassion of residents of the Onufriivka community, volunteers, and guests from the Donetsk and Sumy regions, nearly 230,000 hryvnias were raised and donated to the Berezivka community in the Sumy region to address its most urgent needs.
