In Donetsk region, the “Recovery Army” initiative continues to be implemented, having become one of the key tools for supporting the region’s functioning under martial law. Its participants carry out socially useful work every day, ensuring the stable livelihood of local communities.

Project participants assist socially vulnerable groups, take part in repair and restoration work at critical infrastructure facilities, and help unload, sort, and distribute humanitarian aid to residents, among other tasks.

Since the beginning of the year, 2,077 referrals for participation in public works have been issued in the region, demonstrating the scale and systematic nature of involving people in recovery efforts.

In particular, in the Druzhkivka community, such work is organized at the municipal enterprise “Spektr.” Here, participants are engaged in repair and restoration activities, primarily at life-support facilities, and are also involved in clearing debris.

These activities are not only of practical but also of strategic importance. In frontline communities of Donetsk region, they ensure the continuity of critically important services, enable faster response to the consequences of shelling, and support residents during the most difficult periods.
