As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” an exceptionally warm, creative, and inspiring online event titled “Embroidered Ukraine: From Its Origins to the Present” took place. Students and teachers from Bakhmut School No. 24 and the Bakhmut Center for Vocational and Technical Education, which is currently operating in the village of Hoshcha in the Rivne region, joined the festive gathering.
During the event, participants immersed themselves in the wonderful world of Ukrainian traditions, symbolism, and the beauty of the vyshyvanka. Everyone present enjoyed an exciting online quest and took part in a master class on making paper embroidered shirts.
A photo challenge created a special atmosphere for the event, in which participants presented incredibly heartfelt, creative, and stylish works:
- “The Embroidered Shirt and My Family”
- “The Vyshyvanka and My City”
- “The Vyshyvanka in Action”
- “My Favorite Detail”
- “The Modern Vyshyvanka”
Each photo was a true expression of love for Ukrainian culture, traditions, and our homeland. We sincerely thank all participants for their enthusiasm, creativity, and the incredible festive atmosphere.
Together, we preserve Ukrainian traditions and pass them on to future generations.
