Specialists from the Bakhmut City Council’s Department of Youth Policy and Children’s Affairs held an online meeting with colleagues from the Youth Policy Implementation Division of the Culture Department within the Department of Culture and Youth of the Poltava City Council.
The meeting, titled “Youth Policy in Action: A Dialogue Between Partner Communities,” took place as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project. The main goal was to exchange experiences and agree on new joint projects.
Meeting participants presented the specifics of working with youth in the partner community of Poltava and in the outpost community of Bakhmut. Despite current challenges, both cities are finding innovative approaches to support and develop youth potential.
They mentioned the recent participation of Bakhmut’s youth in a youth quest dedicated to Poltava City Day. This event served as a wonderful example of how joint activities bring people together and create new experiences.
