On June 27, a team from the State Educational Institution “Bakhmut Center for Vocational and Technical Education” took part in the local outreach event “Young Borscht – 2026,” which took place in the Hoshcha community in Rivne Oblast. It was this community that warmly welcomed the relocated educational institution from Donetsk Oblast.
The “Bakhmut Masters” team presented their original dish, “Hoshcha Borscht with a Bakhmut Twist,” combining local flavor with the culinary traditions of Donetsk Oblast.
The school’s teachers not only showcased their culinary skills but also introduced festival guests to the school and the opportunities for vocational education in the Donetsk region.
The event served as an excellent platform for communication, sharing experiences, making new connections, and strengthening partnerships between communities.
At the conclusion of the festival, the team from the Bakhmut Center for Vocational and Technical Education was awarded a certificate in the “Generous Borscht with Soul” category.
