September 30 marks All-Ukrainian Library Day in Ukraine, a holiday dedicated to honoring institutions of knowledge and culture that play a significant role in shaping the educational, scientific, and cultural space of our country.
For eleven years now, we have been living and working in the conditions of the War for Ukraine's Independence — often away from home, without our usual bookshelves and reading rooms. In temporary spaces, far from home, or in the digital environment, librarians continue to carry out their mission.
We sincerely thank you for your endurance, resilience, dedication, and sincere love for your homeland. You are not just librarians. You are the backbone that supports culture, education, and the Ukrainian information space.
May peace return to your lives as soon as possible, and may your beloved libraries once again be filled with the voices of readers, children's laughter, and the rustling of pages. We wish you good health, inexhaustible inspiration, and sincere gratitude from those who choose books every time.
