A police crew rescued a man and a woman from Mykolaivka who had moved into the basement of their own home due to constant shelling. Despite the danger, the couple hesitated to leave their home until the very last moment. But the officers convinced them to do so.

The police conduct evacuation runs from the frontline town almost every day. During one of these operations, police officers found the couple in the basement. At first, the couple refused to leave, but the officers managed to convince them to evacuate. The family asked for a few days to pack their belongings.

As agreed, the “White Angel” crew returned to Mykolaivka. The journey was difficult: enemy FPV drones circled overhead and struck the city. Law enforcement officers scanned the situation every minute, waiting for a safe moment to evacuate.

“It’s been very loud and difficult lately. Explosions every 15 minutes. We had to go down to the basement,” the evacuees said.

The police safely transported the couple to their relatives in Sloviansk.

The police urge residents of settlements under constant shelling not to delay their evacuation. If you need help, call the hotline at 102.
