Among those evacuated were an injured man and people whose home had been directly hit.

Police received a report of an injured man who needed to be evacuated from Mykolaivka. Since the caller did not provide an exact address, the officers searched for him in the city while under fire from enemy drones.

Despite the difficult situation, the crew managed to find the man. His wife had managed to stop the bleeding, but the victim needed urgent medical attention.

Five other residents decided to leave with him, one of whom was unable to walk. Due to the constant shelling, they had recently been living in the basement. It was the basement that saved their lives when a Russian shell destroyed the house.

“But it was dangerous in the basement too. A shell pierced through the roof into the basement, about ten meters from us,” the people recounted their ordeal.

The “White Angels” transported the evacuees to a safe location and the wounded man to the hospital. They “flew” at high speed—it was the only way to escape the city, which is under enemy fire. The volunteers will continue to help people reach the rear regions of Ukraine.
