As part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project, cooperation between the Chasovoyarsk and Kremenchuk communities continues.
Serhiy Chaus, head of the Chasovoyarsk City Military Administration, met with Vitaliy Maletskyi, mayor of Kremenchuk. During the meeting, they discussed further areas of cooperation and support for residents of the Chasovoyarsk community who are currently in Kremenchuk.
They paid special attention to the development of veteran policies and opportunities for joint work in this area. They discussed support for veterans, their social reintegration, access to necessary services, as well as further cooperation between the relevant departments of the two communities.
Representatives of the Chasiv Yar community also took part in a session of the Kremenchuk City Council, during which Oleg Kravchenko—a medical professional and veteran affairs official who participated in the defense of the city of Chasiv Yar—was honored.
For his courage, dedication, and contribution to the city’s defense, Oleg Kravchenko was awarded the “For the Defense of Chasiv Yar” medal. Today, he holds veteran status and continues to work in the field of veteran affairs.
A meeting was also held with representatives of the Kremenchuk City Council’s Department of Veteran Affairs. During the meeting, they discussed the current needs of veterans and identified promising areas for further cooperation between the communities.
Based on the results of the meetings, further plans for joint work were established. The Chasovoyarsk and Kremenchuk communities will continue to support one another, develop their partnership, and work together to support residents and veterans and strengthen intermunicipal cooperation.
