Today’s realities require young people to possess not only professional knowledge but also a strong understanding of the law and the ability to protect themselves and others in critical situations. As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” a safety event was held for students of the Bakhmut Center for Vocational and Technical Education, which is currently operating in Hoshcha.
The informational session was led by a representative of the Bakhmut City Council’s Department of Youth Policy and Children’s Affairs.
Special attention during the event was given to the presentation of a support tool—the “Beregynya” chatbot. Most importantly, this digital resource was developed through the initiative and active participation of young people from the Bakhmut community.
“Beregynya” is a virtual safety guide.
✔️The chatbot includes:
- clear step-by-step instructions in case of a threat;
- contact information for hotlines and support services;
- useful tips for psychological self-help.
Community cohesion is measured not in kilometers, but in concern for the safety and future of each of its residents.
