Two fisheries enterprises in Donetsk and Sumy regions received UAH 775,100 in partial state compensation. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.
State support provides for partial reimbursement of up to 30% of the costs of purchasing and growing fish stocking material for stocking reservoirs for the purpose of commercial fish production.
Payments are provided for enterprises engaged in the breeding, maintenance, and cultivation of freshwater fish in de-occupied and war-affected areas.
2025 was the first year of implementation of the financial assistance program for fisheries, which is part of the state policy to restore agricultural production in war-affected areas.
