Dreaming since childhood of bringing joy and creating vivid emotions, Yegor Tkachov from Sloviansk chose an unusual but very important direction for his business — organizing celebrations. “I wanted to make special moments even happier,” admits the entrepreneur. But the path to his own business, as for many, began with challenges and the search for opportunities.
In 2022, Yegor took his first steps in entrepreneurship — he started working in advertising. However, his real dream was to create a service for organizing festive events. He developed a business plan, calculated the costs, and reached the most difficult stage — finding funding.
The solution came thanks to the “Own Business” program implemented by the State Employment Service. After preparing the application and defending the project, at the end of 2024, he became the winner of the program and received grant support from the state.
Thanks to the funds received, the entrepreneur was able to expand his business: purchase the necessary equipment, form a team, and launch a full-fledged event planning service.
However, his interaction with the employment service did not end there. To recruit staff, Yegor turned to recruiters from the Sloviansk-Bakhmut Department of the Kramatorsk Branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center. As a result, after an internship, two internally displaced persons, Viktoria and Nadiya, joined the entrepreneur's team. The employer also received compensation for labor costs for their employment.
Thus, state financial support and professional assistance helped not only to implement entrepreneurial ideas, but also to create jobs for others.
