The Donetsk Regional Ecology and Nature Center invites children and young people to join the ecological and patriotic literary flash mob “The Singing Nature of Ukraine,” dedicated to Ukrainian Writing and Language Day.
This is an opportunity to use the power of poetry to describe the beauty of Ukrainian nature, its natural resources, protected areas, and the unique symbols of our homeland—the steppes of Donetsk Oblast, the Carpathian mountain pastures, the cherry blossoms of Uzhhorod, the Shatsk Lakes, and other picturesque corners of Ukraine.
How to join the flash mob?
1. Prepare a video of yourself reciting a work by a Ukrainian writer about Ukraine’s nature or one of your own poems. You can also post an original poem accompanied by a themed photo or illustration.
2. Post your entry on Facebook using the hashtags #SingingNatureOfUkraine #DOENC_flashmob #DayOfUkrainianLiteracyAndLanguage.
3. Fill out the registration form and include a link to your post: https://forms.gle/eY7RvyWFgeNkrvJs8
The deadline for participation is October 27, 2026.
Share your own poetry, discover the beauty of your homeland, and tell the story of Ukraine’s natural heritage through the language of poetry!
