For over a year now, the Chasovoyarsk and Yasinya communities have been united by friendship, mutual support, and a sincere partnership as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project.

Just like last year, children from the Chasovoyarsk community traveled to visit the Yasinya community. This time, 16 children and three chaperones have the opportunity to relax, recharge, socialize, and discover the beauty of Zakarpattia.

These children and their families were forced to leave their hometown due to the full-scale war. Russian occupiers destroyed their homes, and the war scattered our families across different parts of Ukraine. Yet despite everything, the children continue to live, dream, make friends, and learn new things.

During their stay, the children are getting to know the incredible nature of Transcarpathia, the region’s history and culture, its traditions, customs, and local cuisine. New friendships, shared activities, excursions, relaxation, and countless heartwarming moments await them—moments that will remain in their memories for a long time.

Such gatherings prove once again that Ukraine is united not only on the map—it is united through its people, friendship, and mutual support. Donetsk Oblast and Transcarpathia stand together.

The Chasovoyarsk City Military Administration sincerely thanks the Yasinya community for its steadfast friendship, support, and partnership. For the opportunity to give the children of the Chasovoyarsk community days of joy, rest, and new experiences.

When we are together—we are stronger. When we support one another—we will prevail.
