As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” the Dobropillia community in Donetsk Oblast is strengthening its partnership with the Stryi community in Lviv Oblast.

Students from the “Prestige” acting studio at the Dobropillia Children’s and Youth Creative Center had the honor of representing the Dobropillia community at the opening of the children’s railway in Lviv, where the young railway enthusiasts experienced a wealth of vivid emotions, returned to practical training, and began the training-production process in preparation for the summer season.

The opening program was comprehensive and combined several formats at once:

  • Ceremonial part: the official launch of train operations and the start of the young railway workers’ training and practical work.
  • Educational and demonstration zone: an exhibition of equipment and special service locations.
  • Entertainment program: a concert featuring creative groups and fun children’s entertainment.
  • Interactive activities for visitors: workshops, educational quizzes, and prize drawings.

The main highlight of the event is a ride on the children’s railway through the picturesque Stryi Park and the opportunity to see how a real railway operates through the eyes of children.

The event served as a true space for hands-on experiences, harmoniously blending education, culture, and entertainment. For the young students of the “Prestige” art studio, this was more than just a break—it was an opportunity to step outside their usual routine, be inspired by the festive atmosphere, and see firsthand how the railway operates from the inside.

The Dobropillia community sincerely thanks the national project “Side by Side: United Communities” for the opportunity to experience this unity, and Stryi for its open hearts, warm welcome, and inspiring support.
