The Tur’ye-Remetivska Territorial Community joined a nationwide initiative to set the record for the “Living Wreath of Unity,” an idea conceived by the civic organization “Ukrainian Headquarters for International Diplomacy.”
Children from the city of Mykolaivka, who are currently vacationing in the Tur’ye-Remetivska territorial community as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project, actively participated in weaving the wreaths. This collaborative creative effort became a symbol of unity, friendship, and support among communities from different parts of Ukraine.
Before the event began, the young guests met with Nadiya Devitska, chairwoman of the Tur’ye-Remetivska Village Council. During a warm and sincere conversation, the children had the opportunity to talk with the community leader, share their impressions of their stay in Zakarpattia, and learn more about community life.
Participating in the record-setting event served as yet another testament to the fact that Ukrainians are united by shared values, mutual support, and faith in the future of our country.
The symbolic wreath, woven by children’s hands, became a symbol of unity, resilience, and friendship among the regions of Ukraine.
