Today, at the Humanitarian Hub of the Maryinka City Military Administration in Pavlohrad, specialists from the Maryinka Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities “Spark of Hope” together with psychologists from the Czech humanitarian organization “People in Need” held another series of classes on psychological rehabilitation and mental health improvement.

During an exciting outdoor session, children and internally displaced persons from the Maryinka community who receive rehabilitation services at the Center participated in a sensory master class on making the “Kapitoshko” anti-stress toy and in active games that have a positive effect on the psychological state of children and adults, help reduce stress, improve mood, and develop social skills.

This art therapy technique helps to relax and restore inner balance through tactile sensations, develops fine motor skills and coordination, and stimulates creativity and imagination. The children enjoyed performing creative and playful tasks to reduce emotional tension and express their feelings. Physical activity, especially in a natural environment, has a calming effect and helps reduce stress levels and improve emotional well-being.

The group session held at the Center also contributed to the development of communication skills, cooperation with peers, strengthening of friendships, and support for mental health. All of this helps children become more confident, adapt to new situations, and be more resilient to stressors.
