This was announced by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and head of the regional military administration.
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a pilot project to build a residential neighborhood in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv Oblast.
This will be social rental housing with transparent rules, as well as the possibility of preferential mortgages for those who want to buy their own homes — primarily for military personnel, veterans, families of the deceased, large families, and people with disabilities.
"In the first stage, 10 buildings will be constructed, and in total, three residential complexes with more than 1,200 apartments with modern infrastructure are planned: safe courtyards, premises for kindergartens, services, trade, and public spaces.
The project is financed by the Mariupol community budget with the support of international partners and will serve as a model for a new housing policy. In the future, this model will be scaled up to other communities.
