The Donetsk Regional Museum of Local History held a training session titled “Psychological Support and Self-Help in Crisis Situations.” The event was designed to enhance the psychological resilience of cultural workers and develop practical self-help skills for dealing with stress, anxiety, or crisis situations.
The session took the form of an informational session followed by a self-help workshop. It served as a space for open dialogue, where everyone had the opportunity to gain useful knowledge about the psychology of stress and the consequences of prolonged psychological strain. The practical portion of the event focused on mastering self-regulation techniques and strategies to prevent burnout and fatigue. Under the guidance of Yevheniia Posunko, an experienced psychologist from the Department of Social and Psychological Work, Counteraction, and Prevention of Violence at the Donetsk Regional Center for Social Services, training participants performed exercises to become aware of their own mental needs and identify personal resources for restoring psychological balance.
This event will help cultural sector employees develop practical skills in self-regulation, emotional resilience, and the restoration of inner resources. The practical skills gained will enable them to recognize signs of stress in a timely manner and effectively cope with psychological strain.
