For many of us, Sloviansk remains a special and beloved place, where memories come alive of the quiet comfort of our childhood courtyards, the sun glinting off the surface of the salt lakes, and warm evenings on our favorite streets.
To mark the city’s 350th anniversary, the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity invites everyone to share their own vision of Sloviansk and join the regional photo initiative.
We look forward to receiving your photos in three special categories:
- “Me and My People” — genuine emotions, sincere smiles, and photos of you with family or friends against the backdrop of cityscapes.
- “Familiar Places” — cozy photos of your favorite courtyard, your home, the schoolyard, or memorable meeting spots.
- “The City in Detail” — close-ups and highlights: exquisite Slavic ceramics, street sculptures, architecture, or the magical surface of the lakes.
From August 27 through September 6, post your photos on your own pages or in the comments on the “Extracurricular Activities in Donetsk Region” page on Facebook.
