The government has approved new amendments regarding housing assistance for internally displaced persons (IDPs) (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1170 of September 17, 2025 — https://t1p.de/k5lzu).
What do these changes provide?
✅ Internally displaced persons who receive housing assistance and have worked or engaged in entrepreneurial or independent professional activity for six months will be entitled to an additional one-time payment from the state.
📅 The payment will be made in the month following the end of the six-month assistance period, provided that the person confirms their employment or business activity through:
▫️ data available in the Register of Insured Persons;
▫️ a certificate from the employer confirming the payment of the unified social contribution;
▫️ a copy of a single tax payer’s declaration accepted by the State Tax Service.
💳 The amount of the additional payment is:
🔹 UAH 3,000 for persons with disabilities and children;
🔸 UAH 2,000 for other individuals.
