Artur Nasibyan, Head of the Department of Veterans’ Policy at the Regional State Administration, participated in the 3rd Conference on the Reintegration of War Veterans, “From Service to Opportunities,” organized by the Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs of Ukraine in collaboration with the National Bank of Ukraine, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and Korn Ferry.
This conference aimed to bring together war veterans, businesses, key stakeholders, and partners to discuss strategies, opportunities, and practical initiatives to support and facilitate the return of war veterans to civilian life, as well as to expand economic opportunities for war veterans by developing a more inclusive and accessible financial sector in Ukraine.
The event brought together over 250 representatives from government, business, the financial sector, and international organizations. During the event, participants had the opportunity to explore and discuss the following issues:
- the role of the NBU in promoting financial inclusion for veterans;
- barriers and opportunities for collaboration between the government, business, and the financial sector;
- models of cooperation between business and the security sector;
- scaling up veterans’ businesses.
