On February 10, the Donetsk Regional State Administration joined an online meeting with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Ulyana Tokareva, representatives of the specialized department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and independent structural units of the regional and Kyiv City Military (State) Administrations.
The Donetsk Regional State Administration was represented in the meeting by the head of the Department of Family, Youth and Mass Events of National and Patriotic Education of the Regional State Administration together with the department's employees.
During the meeting, the implementation of state policy in the field of strengthening Ukrainian national and civic identity, the issue of funding for 2026, and the participation of public organizations in the Competition of projects for strengthening Ukrainian national and civic identity among civil society institutions were discussed.
In particular, it was emphasized that in 2026, funding for the relevant area was increased by 30% compared to 2025, the number of regional programs is increasing, and the participation of civil society institutions in the implementation of state policy is also increasing.
Special attention was paid to the need to approve and implement regional programs to strengthen Ukrainian national and civic identity. As of today, such programs have been approved in 16 regions of Ukraine, including Donetsk region.
Donetsk Regional State Administration will continue to strengthen coordination of work in this area, ensuring systematic planning, effective use of resources and active interaction with civil society to strengthen Ukrainian national and civic identity in the region.
