Ihor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, took part in a coordination meeting organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
The main topic of discussion was the resolution of disagreements regarding the draft government resolution on changes to the financing and implementation of state policy in the field of physical culture and sports.
During the meeting, Ihor Boiko presented the proposal of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and outlined the region’s key proposals regarding the draft Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 755. He emphasized that the Donetsk region generally supports the changes proposed by the Government.
In this regard, emphasis was placed on the need to take into account regional specifics and the critical state of local budgets in frontline territories when adopting the final document.
Following the meeting, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine accepted the proposals of the Donetsk Regional State Administration for consideration. They have been promised to be taken into account during the further refinement of the draft Cabinet of Ministers resolution.
