Throughout December, the regional youth council, together with the public organization "Nova Druzhkivka," visited Kropyvnytskyi, Kyiv, Dnipro, and Poltava with the game "Code of Donetsk Region," where young people from Donetsk region recalled the warmth of their native streets and finally found their place in a new city.

At these meetings, they had a frank dialogue about current challenges and prospects that inspire optimism. The key task was to clarify young people's vision of their role in the reconstruction of the Donetsk region, assess the necessary support, and formulate conditions for building a decent future in their native region.

These ideas will not remain on paper. They will become part of an analytical study that will help form a realistic action plan to involve young people in the early restoration of Donetsk region.

The first important result was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Udachnensky, Mirnogradsky, Mirnensky, and Velikonovosilkovsky Youth Councils, which gave a significant impetus to the implementation of future projects focused on the early recovery of the region.

Friendly meetings proved that Donetsk region today is not just a geographical location, but people who are ready to stay in touch despite any distance for the sake of a common future.

The meetings were held by the public organization "Nova Druzhkivka" in cooperation with the regional youth council as part of the project "Code of Recovery: Youth Dimension of Donetsk Region," which is part of the "Impulse" initiative implemented with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation and the Eastern Europe Foundation and funded by Norway (Norad) and Sweden (Sida).
