On January 29, we honor the memory of the Heroes of Kruty — young soldiers of the Ukrainian People's Republic who consciously stood up to defend their country and proved at the cost of their own lives that Ukraine is worth fighting for to the last breath.
To honor this heroic page in our history, the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity held a regional online challenge called "Krut: The Choice That Makes History," which was joined by over 800 students from extracurricular and general secondary education institutions in Donetsk Oblast.
Young Donetsk residents posted themed photos and creative works on their social media pages:
- created videos and informational clips, including using neural networks;
- recited poetry;
- wrote personal essays on the topic "The feat of the Heroes of Kruty as an example for today's youth" — about honor, choice, and responsibility for the fate of the state;
- developed posters, wall newspapers, infographics, and digital art (illustrations, collages, meaningful drawings) dedicated to the feat of the Heroes of Kruty;
- created patriotic videos.
May the memory of the heroes who died at Kruty live forever.
We bow our heads to those who have become symbols of courage, self-sacrifice, and boundless love for their homeland.
