On June 8, the conference “Education of the New Ukraine 2.0” took place in Kyiv, organized by the Office of the President of Ukraine in collaboration with the Presidential Foundation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The event brought together representatives of education authorities, educational institutions, and school and university students from across the country.

Ihor Haievyi, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, participated in the conference.

The conference was dedicated to promoting education in Ukraine, presenting best practices of vocational and higher education institutions, as well as providing career guidance to high school students and graduates regarding opportunities for further study at Ukrainian educational institutions.

The event featured thematic discussions on creating a high-quality educational environment, disseminating best teaching practices, training competitive professionals, and employment prospects for young people after graduation. Participants also had the opportunity to learn about the activities of educational institutions and visit the interactive exhibition of specializations, “Alley of Opportunities.”

Educators from Donetsk Oblast have unique experience in organizing the educational process amid full-scale war, relocating educational institutions, and ensuring the continuity of learning. Participation in the conference provided an opportunity to engage in a professional dialogue on the future of Ukrainian education, discuss current challenges facing the sector, and exchange practical experiences with colleagues from other regions.
