In honor of World Book and Copyright Day, celebrated annually on April 23, the Donetsk Regional Children’s Library is announcing a regional flash mob titled “My Future Book” and invites everyone to try their hand at writing. You don’t need to print stacks of pages or rush to a publisher—just imagine what the cover of your book would look like.
From April 16 to 20, participants should email [email protected] a book cover—created by hand or using online editors—for the book they dream of writing or would like to present to the world. The design should reflect the book’s theme. Additionally, if desired, you may include a few lines about the book itself in your email (theme / tone / subject or source of inspiration, etc.).
The event is designed not only to encourage participants to develop their imagination and creative abilities but also to draw attention to issues of copyright and intellectual property protection.
The materials will be published from April 22 through April 24 on the Facebook page of the Donetsk Regional Children’s Library https://surl.li/xrcezf all participants will receive electronic certificates.
When sending your letter, please ensure it includes all required materials and information about the participant.
