The NGO “Tvory Dobropillya” together with the Donetsk Regional State Administration are implementing the project “Networking of Civil Society Organizations in Donetsk Region.” It is being implemented with the support of the Council of Europe and aims to strengthen cooperation between CSOs and executive authorities, as well as to support initiatives, in particular for internally displaced persons from Donetsk region.
The project was launched in May 2025 and has already gone through two stages. The first was the holding of focus groups with representatives of more than 60 public associations. During the discussions, participants shared the main problems and challenges: the need for better coordination between hubs, initiatives, and strategies in the region, structured information about assistance after evacuation, convenient channels of communication with the administration, and support for newly created organizations.
The focus groups developed specific solutions: creating joint chat rooms, conducting training and mentoring programs, developing safety rules for events, and coordinating work with IDPs.
The next stage involved working groups with the participation of CSOs and representatives of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, which helped to form a roadmap for cooperation and determine further steps for the effective work of the public sector.
The final stage will be the “Voices of Donetsk Region” forum, which will take place on September 19. It will present all the developments, the approved roadmap for cooperation, and the identified priority joint actions.
