From August 5 to 7, the Donetsk Regional Youth Center took part in the OSCE Youth Café in Lviv, organized as part of a joint project of the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

The goal of the event was to strengthen cooperation between specialists in the field of youth policy, implement effective approaches to ensuring resilience in wartime conditions, and develop the resource and financial capacity of youth spaces.

For three days, we delved into topics that today sound like issues of survival and development for youth centers:

🔸We analyzed the resilience of youth centers and spaces through self-assessment and financial diagnostics;

🔸We studied the basics of financial management and looked for ways to diversify funding;

🔸We worked on institutional and human resilience in wartime conditions;

🔸We shared stories of managerial challenges and victories;

🔸We formed our own portfolio of resilience tools;

🔸We discussed the mental dimension and the role of communities in healing during war.

But the most important thing is not only knowledge and skills. It is the feeling of a shoulder to lean on. It is the realization that even when sirens are ringing all around, there are spaces in Ukraine where young people can dream, act and build a future.

The event proved that resilience is not just about finances or resources, but about people coming together for a common goal.
