The Government of Ukraine has extended the deadline for submitting applications for living assistance for certain categories of internally displaced persons (IDPs) under Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 522 dated April 24, 2026.
The extension applies, in particular, to:
• IDP families with children, regardless of the parents’ income level (provided they meet the established requirements regarding property status, actual place of residence, and confirmation of the children’s education);
• Pensioners and families that include persons unable to work, if their payments were previously discontinued due to exceeding the average monthly total household income threshold (such individuals may reapply for assistance taking into account the updated subsistence minimum for persons who have lost their capacity to work).
Reminder!
If an application is submitted by June 1, 2026:
• Families with children may receive assistance retroactively from February 1, 2026;
• Pensioners and families with persons unable to work may receive assistance retroactively from January 1, 2026.
If an application is submitted after June 1, 2026, the assistance will be granted starting from the month of application.
