The All-Ukrainian “Top Manager of Extracurricular Education” training program was held in Kyiv at the National Ecological and Naturalistic Center for School Youth under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The event was attended by heads of extracurricular education institutions from all regions of Ukraine.
The Donetsk region was represented by Oleksandr Parashchenko, director of the Donetsk Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center. He shared the region’s experience of working amid the challenges of war and emphasized the transformation of extracurricular education, noting that today it has become a vital environment for the support, development, and self-realization of children.
Through participation in environmental projects, research, and creative initiatives, students maintain their motivation to learn and develop key life skills—ranging from critical thinking and adaptability to teamwork and environmental awareness.
Participation in the internships provided an opportunity to showcase the experience of the Donetsk region, exchange professional best practices with colleagues, and discuss modern approaches to the development of out-of-school education in Ukraine.
