To mark Ukraine’s National Flag Day, the Druzhkivka and Zhmerynka communities, as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” held an online flash mob titled “The Flag That Unites Ukraine.”
Residents of all ages from both communities joined the initiative. Participants posted photos on Facebook featuring the Ukrainian National Flag, along with words of support and gratitude for the partner community.
Each photo served as a small gesture of attention and support. These images conveyed the sincerity of people who remain close even from a distance and are ready to support one another during difficult times.
The flash mob united the two communities around a symbol that holds special meaning for every Ukrainian. The blue and yellow colors remind us of our freedom, dignity, strength, and love for our homeland.
The Druzhkivka community sincerely thanks everyone who joined the flash mob, shared their photos, and offered kind words. Your participation is yet another confirmation that Ukrainians know how to stand together, no matter the distance.
