DTEK Donetsk Power Grid restored power to 122,700 homes in one week

In the first week of July, DTEK Donetsk Power Grid's emergency repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of network damages and restore power to residents of 35 settlements. 122,700 families now have access to electricity again. Energy workers are making every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region as soon as possible. 

Despite the ongoing heavy fighting in the region and the constant danger, last week DTEK Donetsk Power Grid specialists managed to fully or partially restore power to residents of 35 settlements. 122,714 families in Donetsk region once again have access to electricity.

Over the weekend, energy specialists managed to restore power to 9,000 homes in 13 settlements in the frontline region.

Donetsk region remains the scene of the most active hostilities. Damage to energy infrastructure continues. Energy workers will restore power to all residents of the region as soon as they receive permission to carry out work from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.    

Work in Donetsk region is becoming increasingly dangerous, but DTEK Donetsk Power Grid specialists have been working continuously for 1,230 days, restoring equipment and lines as soon as it becomes possible.
