DTEK Donetsk Power Grids Continues Equipment Repairs: 31 Settlements Back with Electricity

On August 12, despite the constant danger, specialists from DTEK Donetsk Power Grids continued their work. Thanks to their efforts, electricity supply was fully or partially restored in 31 settlements that had been cut off by enemy shelling. Power returned to 13,600 households. The company’s engineers are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region as soon as conditions allow and the military grants permission to carry out repairs.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Power Grids specialists managed to restore power to 31 frontline settlements in Donetsk region, bringing electricity back to the homes of 13,613 local families.

DTEK Donetsk Power Grids teams have been working non-stop for 1,267 days, repairing equipment and power lines as soon as it becomes possible. The work remains dangerous: according to regional head Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled populated areas of the region 30 times in the past 24 hours.
