On July 23, a milestone event took place for the Vetryaky family-type orphanage: the family, which has seven young foster children and two siblings, received the keys to a new nine-seater minivan. The event was attended by Deputy Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration Oleksandr Shevchenko.
The Vetryak family was temporarily relocated from the temporarily occupied town of Kurakhove in Donetsk Oblast to the village of Sutisky in Vinnytsia Oblast. Here, they live free of charge in a spacious private house built with public funds by the Sutisky village territorial community.
The purchase of the new PEUGEOT minivan was made possible thanks to the 2025 Program for Support of the Kurakhivska City Territorial Community Family-type Orphanage, approved by the community that created the family-type orphanage. The car was handed over to the family for use, which will significantly expand their opportunities and ensure comfortable transportation.
During the ceremony, the family also received food packages, sweets and educational games.
This event is a clear indication of our concern for the fate of children from Donetsk Oblast and our desire to create an environment where every child feels safe, secure and happy.
