On December 18, 2025, a regular meeting of the Children's Environmental Parliament was held. It was organized by the Donetsk Regional Ecology and Nature Center.
The event took the form of an interactive winter online conference, "Winter Ecology: Ecoquest 2025," bringing together students, teachers, and specialists from different parts of Ukraine—81 participants in total.
A special event for them was an educational ecological trip, "Traces in the Snow and on the Snow," led by Galina Semenikhina, a leading specialist in environmental education at the Kleban-Byk Regional Landscape Park.
The Ecoquest program included: consideration of the problematic issue "Winter and ecology: harmony or conflict?"; an exciting "Energy Puzzle" about the rational use of energy resources; discussion of heat-saving solutions in everyday life; useful winter tips from young ecologists; the premiere of the audio story "How the Hare and the Fox Introduced Energy Efficiency Ideas," created with the help of artificial intelligence; and a festive section called "New Year's Wishes."
During the event, the children presented their own research, answered riddles, proposed eco-initiatives, and jointly assembled a large energy puzzle — a symbol of a conscious attitude towards nature and responsible energy habits.
At the end of the meeting, the participants formed a "wreath of kind words," shared their New Year's wishes, and congratulated each other on the approach of 2026.
