The first evacuation cars from Lozova have already taken 39 residents of Donetsk Oblast to safer regions of Ukraine. A new transit center has been opened in Lozova to relieve the pressure on Dnipropetrovska oblast. People are still leaving their homes in large numbers to escape the daily explosions and shelling.
Among the evacuees is Ms. Tatiana, a woman with a difficult life. She spent her entire life in Dobropillya with her husband, who caused her pain and humiliation. He recently died, and the war forced her to leave her home.
At the transit center, for the first time in many years, Ms. Tetyana heard warm words of support and sincere offers of help.
"I thank the kind people for their sensitivity and care," she said.
The humanitarian mission "Proliska" is with every person who is forced to flee the war. With the support of UNHCR Ukraine, the United Nations Refugee Agency in Ukraine, the Proliska team continues to work tirelessly to save lives and give hope to Ukrainians.
