Representatives of the Sloviansk Social Protection Department visited the twin city, where they held a meeting with colleagues from the Department of Social Policy, the Bucha Center for Social Services and Psychological Assistance, and also visited and got acquainted with the work of the Resilience Center.
The visit took place as part of the National Project "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities." Its main goal was to improve the effectiveness of providing social services to people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances and need support.
Specialists from the Sloviansk Social Protection Department learned about the work of social institutions in Bucha, key areas, and approaches to providing assistance to socially vulnerable groups, war veterans, family members of fallen war veterans, and defenders of Ukraine.
"Such meetings are an important tool for improving the quality of social service delivery, implementing modern work standards, and developing new initiatives," say Sloviansk specialists. "Experience exchange allows specialists from different regions to adopt best practices and improve approaches to social protection, making it more effective and accessible."
We sincerely thank our colleagues for their hospitality, constructive dialogue, and interest in cooperation. We hope for further productive experience exchange and the implementation of joint initiatives for the benefit of our communities!"
