The opportunity to improve their health and rest has already been given to 16 families of police officers who were killed or went missing. The rehabilitation program for adults and children was organized by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk Oblast and philanthropists.
Caring for the families of fallen colleagues is a sacred duty of law enforcement officers. One of the ways to thank the heroes was to organize a health and recreation project for their loved ones - not only children but also parents.
During the warm season, the families of the killed and missing police officers vacationed at resorts in Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Poltava regions. In addition to accommodation and meals, the organizers also provided a variety of leisure activities: trips to the mountains, horseback riding, and spa treatments.
The peace, nature, and activities helped reduce stress and improve the physical and mental health of the families of fallen defenders and those whose fate is still unknown.
The Donetsk police will continue to develop this area of veteran policy.
