The state continues its systematic support for business and is creating even more opportunities to start and grow your own enterprise. The entrepreneur support grant program remains active.
The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine has approved the application timelines for microgrants and grants.
This year, the grant amounts have been increased, expanding opportunities for entrepreneurs and making the program even more effective.
Available Grants
- Microgrant “Own Business”
- Microgrant for youth
- Grant for veterans, persons with war-related disabilities, and their family members
- Grant in the field of preschool education or creative industries
Grant Amounts
Microgrant “Own Business” (up to):
- UAH 100,000 – upon registration as an individual entrepreneur (FOP)
- UAH 200,000 – if 1 job is created
- UAH 350,000 – if at least 2 jobs are created
Special conditions for frontline regions:
Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions:
- Up to UAH 300,000 – if 1 job is created
- Up to UAH 500,000 – if at least 2 jobs are created
Special conditions for young entrepreneurs aged 18–25:
- Up to UAH 200,000 – upon registration as an individual entrepreneur (no job creation requirement)
Grant for veterans, persons with war-related disabilities, and one spouse (up to):
- UAH 250,000 – if 1 job is created
- UAH 500,000 – if 2 jobs are created
- UAH 1 million – if 4 jobs are created, with at least 12 months of business experience and 30% co-financing of the project cost
Grant for creative industries or preschool education (up to):
- UAH 100,000 – for freelance individual entrepreneurs
- UAH 200,000 – if 1 job is created
- UAH 500,000 – if 2 jobs are created
- UAH 1 million – if 4 jobs are created, with at least 12 months of experience and 30% co-financing of the project cost
How to Apply for a Grant
- Prepare your application and business plan:
https://diia.gov.ua/services/grant-na-vlasnu-spravu - Submit your application and business plan via the Diia portal.
- Business reputation screening in an authorized bank is conducted automatically.
- Complete an online interview at your regional employment center.
- After the State Employment Service makes a decision on awarding the microgrant, check your personal Diia account for notification of the results.
- Within 20 working days of receiving the notification:
- If you are an individual, register as an individual entrepreneur (FOP) or establish a legal entity.
- Contact an authorized bank, conclude a microgrant agreement by signing the accession statement, and submit documents to open a special account for receiving the grant funds.
- Use the microgrant funds for their intended purpose and start or develop your business activity.
