Representatives of the Bakhmut community took part in an open dialogue titled “Community Partnership Platform: Exchange of Best Practices on Providing Administrative, Social, and Digital Services and Supporting Entrepreneurship Under Martial Law,” which took place in Poltava as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
The event served as a platform for a professional exchange of experiences among partner communities and outpost communities, representatives of local self-government bodies, and experts in the fields of social protection, administrative services, digitalization, and economic development.
The meeting was attended by the Bakhmut, Sloviansk, Illinivka, Kupiansk, and Poltava communities, as well as departments of the Poltava City Council.
Inna Spodina, Head of the Social Protection Department of the Bakhmut City Council, presented local social programs as a tool for flexibly responding to the needs of community residents. She spoke about support for Bakhmut residents who now live in various regions of Ukraine, including internally displaced persons, war veterans, their family members, and other population groups.
Participants also shared best practices regarding the implementation of the “eRecovery” program, state property registration, and the organization of work following relocation. Poltava presented its approaches in the areas of economic development, entrepreneurship, social protection, and administrative and digital services.
