As part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities," an online meeting with defender Yulia Nazarenko from Poltava region was held in cooperation with the Khlibodarivska community in Donetsk region and the Mashivska community in Poltava region.
The meeting was attended by students and teachers of the Koshmanivsky Lyceum in the Mashiv community and residents of the Khlibodarivska and other communities in Donetsk Oblast.
During the open discussion, participants had the opportunity to hear the soldier's personal story, her path to service, which began in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region in 2017, learn more about the realities of life on the front lines, and ask questions that concern Ukrainians today.
Yulia Nazarenko talked about her duties in the army, the combat areas where she had to carry out tasks, and shared her thoughts on moral resilience and the support of her comrades.
At the end of the meeting, Svitlana Fomenko presented Ms. Yulia and all those present with her poem "Woman in Pixels." The participants thanked the defender for her courage, openness, and willingness to share her experience.
Such dialogues help us better understand our defenders, support them, and preserve the unity of Ukrainian society.
