On April 24, the “Easter Brings Families Together” charity Easter festival took place at the Center for Culture, Leisure, and Sports in Chyhyryn as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”

Leaders and residents of the Sartana, Mangush, Kalchyk, Mykolaiv, Chuhuiv, and Chyhyryn communities participated in the event.

The festival brought together creative groups and amateur performers who, through song, dance, and speech, conveyed the power of Ukrainian traditions, sincerity, and faith in victory.

One of the most popular attractions was a charity fair featuring Easter treats and crafts made by student groups. All funds raised during the fair were directed toward supporting Ukrainian defenders.

The highlight of the event was an exhibition of works by artists from the communities participating in the festival, featuring creative works from both the Chyhyryn region and partner communities. The Mangush community presented decorative and applied arts, paintings, and elements of intangible cultural heritage, including Psatyr, Fult, and Vasilopita.

The Sartana community presented an exhibition of drawings by community residents titled “The Radiance of Easter.” The Mykil community showcased the work of its artisans: diamond mosaic paintings, authentic necklaces, and skillfully crafted pillows.

This festival proved once again: when we are together, we are unbeatable.
