"I'm safe," says six-year-old Mykhailo, who was evacuated with his mother and younger brother by the White Angels from Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka.
The family lived in an area a few kilometers from the front line in Kostyantynivka. Despite the activity of enemy drones, the police managed to safely evacuate Mykhailo, his one-and-a-half-year-old brother Artem, his mother, and his grandmother.
The explosions in Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka continue day and night, with the enemy shelling peaceful neighborhoods every day. The family had already left in the fall, but recently returned to their home. However, with the intensification of shelling, they decided to evacuate again so as not to endanger the children. They turned to the police for help.
"Yesterday was loud, horrible! Everything is destroyed: streets, neighborhoods. The children were very scared, so we decided to leave for their sake," says the boys' grandmother.
The police took the family to a safe place, from where, with the support of volunteers, they will travel to another region of Ukraine.
