Today, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Boiko discussed with community leaders of Donetsk region and representatives of mobile network operators the operation of mobile communications during emergency and scheduled power outages.
Representatives of the region’s communities had previously contributed to equipping base stations with generators and batteries. Specialists from mobile operators continuously cooperate with local utility companies responsible for connecting backup power sources in the event of electricity outages.
Training is currently underway in communities for specialists who assist operators in maintaining network operations. Mobile operator representatives continue working to ensure stable mobile communication and mobile internet services, while also replacing base stations damaged by enemy attacks.
It is extremely important that residents of frontline Donetsk region have uninterrupted access to communication services under current conditions.
