Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Boyko, together with representatives of the regional administration, participated in a meeting of the State Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations, chaired by Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine – Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Kuleba.

The members and participants of the State Commission, meeting via video conference, heard reports from the leadership of the State Emergency Service, the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development, and the State Agency of Forest Resources regarding the current situation in the country and risks to infrastructure facilities due to enemy attacks.

The agenda included discussions on the readiness of national and regional emergency response systems to handle situations related to the disruption of critical infrastructure and life-support systems. Particular attention was given to the preparedness of central and local executive bodies, as well as local self-government authorities, for operations during the autumn–winter period.

The meeting also addressed measures to detect and prevent administrative offenses related to violations of legislation in the fields of fire and industrial safety and civil protection, especially during the fire-hazard season of 2025.

In the Donetsk region, work continues on implementing measures necessary to support the population and ensure the functioning of infrastructure facilities under the conditions of ongoing hostilities and enemy attacks. The structural units of the regional and military administrations, along with relevant services, are actively responding to existing challenges and fulfilling their assigned tasks.
