Creating accessible and comfortable working conditions for people with disabilities is not only a sign of compassion and responsibility — it is also a legal requirement.
Thanks to a government program that supports employers by compensating expenses for setting up workplaces for employees with disabilities in Groups I and II, Viktoriia was able to find the job she had long dreamed of.
Viktoriia, who has a Group II disability, had been searching for employment for a long time. At AS Kramatorska LLC, a passenger transportation company, a cashier’s workplace was created specifically for her. It was equipped with modern technology and adapted to ensure comfort.
As a result, Viktoriia got the job she had hoped for, and the company gained a valuable employee — as well as reimbursement for the cost of creating an inclusive workplace.
The Donetsk Regional Employment Service continues its work to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to fulfill their professional potential and that employers can create inclusive, comfortable working conditions without unnecessary complications.
